A family-run Yakima crew, wiring and pulling pumps since 1991

Castle Pump & Electric is family-owned and locally operated. It began as a small, family-run operation with one mission: dependable water system services that keep local homes, farms and businesses running. The electrical side grew up right beside it.

Casing · The story

Two systems, one team that understands both

Your Yakima home or business depends on two essential systems: electricity and water. When either fails, you need a team that understands both. That sentence is how Castle describes itself, and the job history backs it up. Owner Rob Weaver answers the phone, sends the crew, and has been known to fetch a part himself when a customer is stuck.

The company serves homeowners, farms and businesses across Yakima and Kittitas counties from two locations: the electrical office at 911 S 1st Ave in Yakima and the pump yard at 1360 Franklin Rd in Tieton. Both lines are answered around the clock, because a dead well pump and a dead panel do not wait for business hours.

Rob’s name is the primary principal on all three of the company’s Washington L&I licenses, which is why one crew can pull a pump, wire the pump house and pull the permit for a panel without handing the job to a second company halfway through.

Panel · What we hold to

Five values, each one checkable

Integrity First

The company motto says it: any job big or small done right or not at all. A small outlet swap gets the same care as a pump pull.

Safety Above All

Castle tells homeowners plainly that Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels have documented safety failures and are no longer code-compliant, and recommends replacing them.

Craftsmanship & Innovation

Grundfos, Franklin and Square D equipment, set by licensed hands, with SubDrive and VFD controls matched to the well.

Transparent Communication

A published $95 hourly rate for most electrical repairs, a published $1,500 to $4,000 range for panel upgrades, and free estimates usually back within 48 hours.

Community Commitment

In the company's own words, they give back through reliable service, fair pricing and volunteer efforts in the Yakima Valley.

Our mission: to deliver safe, reliable and efficient water system solutions that protect our clients’ homes, farms and businesses.
